The family-run business with high ceiling is for Charlotteburgers the good parlour, not only because of dishes such as Spaghetti with round clams or grey mullets roe or nut butter confiert catfish fillets with watercress stock. The wine-list, in which the house wine from Friaul plays an important role, is very extensive, that in itself is a reason why one does not leave too early.

The wine, among about 350 wines of mainly Italian grades, is of course in the spotlight, but not only as soloist. Because the Enoiteca, a high ceiling-room with elegantly panelled wooden interior, also impresses as restaurant. The guest should be reserved with the various antipasti …, so that he can better appreciate Sebastian Schmidt’s cooking skills. Crespelle with goat cream-cheese, prunes, sage and pesto, poached fillet of sea char with green asparagus, lime and tomatoes or two things of acorn-fattened pig (confiert cheek, crisp roasted pork back) with Prosecco-pinapple herbs and Salsa Verde give a visual as well as a gustatory pleasure.
